Stakeholders at the weekend, emphasised the critical role of strategic philanthropy in tackling unemployment and accelerating micro-enterprise development across the country.
The stakeholders made the call at the Southwest philanthropy summit organised by the Nigeria Office for Philanthropy and Impact Investing in collaboration with Odu’a Investment Company Limited in Lagos which brought together policymakers, private sector leaders and development experts to explore innovative funding models.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu while speaking at the event emphasized the need for transition from spontaneous acts of kindness to strategic, measurable, and sustainable initiatives.
